Love Always - Coach J
Learning. One of the wisest (and most successful) businessmen I know is also one of the most open to new ideas and perspectives. He is always willing to listen and adapt new strategies or thoughts. He is also willing to draw a hard line when he sees someone heading in a direction that he knows will result in a loss. He is not afraid to speak up or passive by any means, however I have been struck by his open nature. He is like a child in the enthusiasm he brings to learning new things or at least hearing them out each day. No matter his success he's never stopped learning. What a lesson in action. I am grateful I have witnessed it because I have heard this advice before but seeing it in action, having a frame of reference to model is beyond explanation for my ability to accept the lesson.

When is the last time you and your loved one worked on a puzzle together? Maybe your Husband, Wife, Child, Grandchild, or Parent took the time to work through a jigsaw puzzle with you and you never forgot that. Who was the one that wanted to do all the outside pieces first? Who simply looked to match colors? Who set up the picture on the box and worked from clues on each piece to start laying out the general area that piece might end up in? There are so many methods to attack a puzzle and so many different learning and problem solving styles that it is amazing to watch your teammates thoughts and organization when working through placing the pieces where they belong. To create a perfect picture we need to work together, honor the differencing styles and most of all enjoy the ride to completion. The feeling of accomplishment when the last piece is placed is exhilarating and the journey is what makes it all worth it. No matter the pieces your life is in there is a clear picture of the intent and purpose. Work with your loved ones to put it together. Most importantly enjoy your time together. Love Always - Coach J Abba from Aramaic origin can be translated as the most intimate for of Father, such as "papa" = endearing in its nature. Ask yourself what would you have such an endearing attachment or emotional reaction to? Now look at the translation of Abba to mean Source. When you look at the father as the source you realize all comes from him through you. You are a representation of the source. Connect to the source to have a full, rich and endearing connection with others. The original Source, the Creator of all is your Abba. Do not be clouded by Earthly representations of Fathers. We all do our best on Earth to reflect the one true Abba, yet we are still only human in form. Connect to your original source. Love Always - Coach J Take a moment and think about how it feels when someone genuinely takes an interest in a project you are working on, your health or your family. It is a feeling of warmth mixed with excitement. We love to share information about things we are passionate about. When we share a goal we are chasing we feel stronger and more at peace with that goal when we can say it out loud and have another person really get behind us on it. Our language calls this taking interest in someone. Interest means we are curious or want to learn more about a topic or person. Anytime we project this type of energy we are feeding the other person. It also means a regular payout on an investment or loan. You have invested in this person and they will keep you updated regularly to keep the energy level maintained - this is interest. It is a self filling energy source. With this in mind when is the last time you really took interest in something someone you love is doing? Find that thing that excites them and ask them to tell you all about it and where they are going with it. Offer to be a resource or reference even if it is no more than just a work of encouragement from time to time. As you are taking interest in others, take note of those that take interest in you. Show them gratitude and return interest to there investment in you. Love Always - Coach J This morning I am reflecting on the most simple yet deepest of lessons. We are born into a Kingdom as citizens. Our Kingdom is that of wisdom, Love, and limitless abundance. Everything that we are surrounded by is made for us to command. Yet our focus can shift or slip at times to be commanded by our surroundings. Regain your royal position and make direction of your surroundings. The world truly is yours. Love Always - Coach J I love to watch Friday night fights from a recliner eating a snack. The first two bouts had knockouts and the final bout was a well matched strategic fight. I love to watch the science and precision of good boxers. After that I switch over to watch some stand up comedy and enjoy the science and precision of a well crafted comedy routine. This is a formula for one of my favorite ways to relax. Drop a line in the comment section and let me know one of your fall back favorites. Love Always - Coach J As we began the evening ritual of preparing for bed last night we took a moment to select a desert of our choosing. One went with ice cream, another with a banana, I created a mixture of granola, dried fruit and kefir. Realizing how blessed and favored we are if we stay true to ourselves there are no losers. Love Always (and ice cream sometimes)- Coach J Have you ever had an experience where you were working on something or having a physical experience and the self talk in your head was telling you to quit or give up? Have you ever felt like you are not smart enough or strong enough? I am not sure why that wall is there. Many times I have read and written walls are put up to keep the people out that don't want it bad enough. I know you get stronger and smarter by pushing past that voice and performing regardless of what it says. When those thoughts come (and they come to us all) replace them with positive self talk. Try switching it up just a little from "I'm not smart enough" to "I don't have all the facts yet but I am researching them now" or "I'm not strong enough" to "I can do this one step at a time". When you break it down to stages and look back you will find you are incredibly smarter and stronger than that voice in your head ever believed. Smash the mental wall. Love Always - Coach J The title of the picture says "Mother Natures Treadmill". What fuel do you feed your body? Is it balanced and refreshed? What fuel do you feed your mind? Is it insightful and refreshing? Do the things you take into your body and mind inspire you? Inspire means to fill with spirit. You do not have a spirit. You are a spirit. Feed it. Do not dampen or hide it with poor choices that muddy your connection to it. Cleanse the connection and shine with brilliance. The first place to start is the fuel you feed your body and mind.
